The Goldwater Bulldogs baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Mohave Thunderbirds to 7 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs (6-18) will now prepare for their match against Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ). The Skyhawks go into the 4A West Valley match with a 13-8 record. In their last match, Deer Valley was edged by Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ), 10-1, in a league match.
The Thunderbirds (4-14) will now prepare for their match against Lee Williams (Kingman, AZ). The Volunteers go into the 4A Grand Canyon match with a 12-13 record. In their last match, Lee Williams edged Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ), 10-0, in a league match.
