In Wednesday's non-league game, the host John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles baseball team scored a nice 14-2 victory over the Mathews Mustangs.
The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Aquinas (Louisville, OH). The Knights go into the Portage Trail game with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Aquinas was overwhelmed by Rootstown (Rootstown, OH), 13-2, in a league match.
