The Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting West Stanly Colts to 2 in the Lancers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Lancers (10-1) will now prepare for their match against Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 21-3 record. In their last match, Charlotte Christian gained a win over Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC), 10-0, in a league match.
The Colts (18-3) will now prepare for their match against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack go into the Rocky River 2A/3A match with a 15-5 record. In their last match, Parkwood was overwhelmed by Sun Valley (Monroe, NC), 14-3, in a non-league match.
