The Pasquotank County Panthers baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Southampton Indians to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Panthers (9-7) will now prepare for their match against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Nighthawks go into the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A match with a 13-5 record. In their last match, First Flight gained a win over Croatan (Newport, NC), 6-0, in a non-league match.
The Indians (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Colonials go into the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Colonial Heights was overwhelmed by Thomas Dale (Chester, VA), 11-1, in a league outing.
