In Wednesday's non-league battle, the Rye Garnets (Rye, NY) lacrosse squad edged the host Hendrick Hudson Sailors (Montrose, NY), by a count of 8-7.

Coming up next, the Garnets clash with the John Jay Wolves (Cross River, NY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 22. Rye will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 6-1 record after their 17-8 non-league win over Scarsdale (Scarsdale, NY).

The Sailors now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Shore for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 23.
