In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Vista del Lago Eagles baseball team scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Placer Hillmen.
The Eagles (14-9) will now prepare for their game against Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 16-4 record. In their last game, Rodriguez was overwhelmed by Vacaville (Vacaville, CA), 5-4, in a league game.
The Hillmen (8-9) will now prepare for their game against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Bruins go into the game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Ponderosa was overwhelmed by Lincoln (Lincoln, CA), 1-0, in a league game.
