In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Canyon View Jaguars softball team scored a close 8-4 win over the Fairfax Stampede.

Coming up next, the Jaguars battle the Lake Havasu Knights (Lake Havasu City, AZ) in a 5A Desert West outing, on Thursday, April 21. Canyon View will attempt to upgrade on its 21-5 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 22-3 record after their 35-0 league win over Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ).

The Stampede (13-11) will now prepare for their outing against Kellis (Glendale, AZ). The Cougars enter the non-league outing with a 1-19 record. In their last outing, Kellis was routed by Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ), 17-1, in a league outing.
