Ohio High School Softball - Clay tipped by Vinton County

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH) softball team the visiting Clay Panthers (Portsmouth, OH), by a margin of 7-5.

With the triumph, Vinton County moves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Vikings host Rock Hill (Ironton, OH) to play the Redmen in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 21. The Redmen come into the contest with a record of 2-3. Rock Hill lost 6-4 in their recent league contest against Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH)

In their next game, the Panthers play the Symmes Valley Vikings (Willow Wood, OH) in a Southern Ohio I contest, on Thursday, April 21. Clay will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 11-1 league win over Green (Franklin Furnace, OH).
