Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN), 18-1 in a league challenge.

The Kingsmen now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roncalli for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 22. Penn will battle a Royals squad coming off a 11-2 league win over Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN). The Royals record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Elkhart falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Lions host East Noble (Kendallville, IN) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 4-2.
