Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC), 19-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host South Garner for a Greater Neuse River 4A challenge on Friday, April 22. Garner will face a Titans squad coming off a 20-1 league loss to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Titans record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Knightdale falls to 0-13 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC) to face the Wildcats in a Northern Athletic 4A challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. Millbrook lost 12-4 in their recent league challenge against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC)
