The Mason Comets routed the host Lakota East Thunderhawks softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Comets (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hamilton (Hamilton, OH). The Big Blue go into the Greater Miami battle with a 1-2 record.

The Thunderhawks now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Princeton for a Greater Miami battle on Thursday, April 21. Lakota East will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Lakota West (West Chester, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 1-4.
