The Manchester Red Hawks got by the visiting Simsbury Trojans softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Red Hawks (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT). The Terriers go into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record.

The Trojans now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hall for a Central Connecticut - West battle on Monday, April 25. Simsbury will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over RHAM (Hebron, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 6-1.
