Mount Vernon Bulldogs (Mount Vernon, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA), 13-3 in a league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Lynden for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Wednesday, April 27.
With the loss, Sehome falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Mariners host Anacortes (Anacortes, WA) to battle the Seahawks in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Monday, April 25. The Seahawks enter the challenge with a record of 5-4.
