North Carolina High School Softball - Triton felled by Topsail

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Topsail Pirates softball team scored a nice 17-3 win over the Triton Hawks.

Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A outing, on Tuesday, April 26. Topsail will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Screaming Eagle enter the outing with a 6-10 record after their 10-0 league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC).

The Hawks (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles enter the All American 3A/4A outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Western Harnett was routed by Triton (Erwin, NC), 10-0, in a league outing.
