In Thursday's non-league game, the host A.L. Brown Wonders baseball team scored a tight 11-10 victory over the Salisbury Hornets.
The Wonders (5-12) will now prepare for their game against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings go into the Greater Metro 4A game with a 7-13 record. In their last game, South Iredell tipped Bandys (Catawba, NC), 14-11, in a non-league game.
The Hornets (5-14) will now prepare for their game against North Hills Christian (Salisbury, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, North Hills Christian tipped Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC), 16-10, in a non-league game.
