St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, St. John's upgrades its record to 20-0 on the season. The Cadets travel to Landon (Bethesda, MD) to battle the Bears in a non-league test on Friday, April 21. The Bears come into the test with a record of 5-7. Landon won 4-1 in their recent league test against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA)

With the defeat, Bishop O'Connell falls to 13-8 on the season. The Knights host Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC) to battle the Lions in a Washington Catholic test on Saturday, April 22. The Lions come into the test with a record of 8-14. Archbishop Carroll lost 11-1 in their recent league test against Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD)
