Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) and the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), saw Neshannock's baseball squad edge Boardman by a count of 4-3.
Coming up next, the Lancers play the Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 battle, on Monday, April 24. Neshannock will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 7-5 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to New Castle (New Castle, PA).
