Arizona High School Volleyball - Mountain Ridge over Sunnyslope

The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) volleyball overcame the visiting Sunnyslope Vikings (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Mountain Ridge upgrades its record to 13-18 on the year. The Mountain Lions travel to O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Eagles in a 6A Desert Valley outing on Friday, April 21. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 31-6. O'Connor won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ)

The Vikings now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they host Boulder Creek for a 6A Desert Valley outing on Tuesday, April 25. Sunnyslope will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Liberty (Peoria, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-15.
