Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Non Varsity Opponent (, ), 14-11 in a non-league test.

The Jaguars now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodford County for a non-league test on Friday, April 21. Cooper will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 19-6 league loss to Henry Clay (Lexington, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-8.

Next up, the play the Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 22. Non Varsity Opponent will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Eagles go into the match with a 6-4 record after their 6-3 league win over Musselman (Inwood, WV).
