Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers confront the Cape Henlopen Vikings (Lewes, DE) in a Henlopen North challenge, on Tuesday, April 25. Polytech will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Bluffton (Bluffton, SC).

The Eagles now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Caravel for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. Smyrna will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Indian River (Dagsboro, DE). The Buccaneers record now stands at 5-0.
