The Hickory Hawks crushed the host King's Fork Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 18-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Western Branch for a bout on Tuesday, April 25. Hickory will face a Bruins team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 9-1.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 21. King's Fork will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA).
