The Herriman Mustangs lacrosse team scored 7 points and limited the host Riverton Silverwolves to 6 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Bingham (South Jordan, UT). The Miners enter the 6A Region 3 game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Bingham edged Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT), 16-6, in a non-league game.
The Silverwolves (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Payson (Payson, UT). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Payson was tipped by Springville (Springville, UT), 7-6, in a league match.
