In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting West Creek Coyote soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Sycamore War Eagles.
The Coyote (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Dickson County (Dickson, TN). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Dickson County was nudged by Gallatin (Gallatin, TN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The War Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Montgomery Central (Cunningham, TN). The Indians go into the 2A District 12 battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Montgomery Central was nudged by Fairview (Fairview, TN), 2-0, in a league battle.
