Ursuline Academy Lions (Cincinnati, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Anderson Raptors (Cincinnati, OH), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Notre Dame for a Girls Greater Catholic challenge on Friday, April 21. Ursuline Academy will battle a squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, OH). The record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Anderson falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Raptors host Winton Woods (Cincinnati, OH) to battle the Warriors in a Eastern Cincinnati Conference challenge on Friday, April 21. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-11.
