Ohio High School Softball - Hoover bounces Boardman

The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) and the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), saw Hoover's softball squad achieve victory over Boardman by a count of 12-2.

The Vikings now sport a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canfield for a non-league match on Friday, April 21. Hoover will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 18-7 league win over Howland (Warren, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, Boardman falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Aurora (Aurora, OH) to face the Greenmen in a non-league match on Friday, April 21. The Greenmen enter the match with a record of 12-4. Aurora won 4-1 in their recent league match against Tallmadge (Tallmadge, OH)
