Kentucky High School Softball - Madison Central bounces Bourbon County

The Madison Central Indians routed the host Bourbon County Colonels softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Indians (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Pioneers go into the non-league battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Simon Kenton topped Notre Dame Academy (Park Hills, KY), 18-3, in a non-league battle.

The Colonels now sport a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Wolfe County for a non-league battle on Friday, April 21. Bourbon County will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 7-3 league win over Breathitt County (Jackson, KY). The Wolves record now stands at 9-3.
