Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA), 15-1 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sedro-Woolley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Monday, April 24. Burlington-Edison will battle a Cubs squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Cubs record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Oak Harbor falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Meridian (Bellingham, WA) to battle the Trojans in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. Meridian lost 7-2 in their recent league challenge against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA)
