Catonsville Comets (Baltimore, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Franklin Indians (Reisterstown, MD), 10-7 in a league challenge.
The Comets now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount de Sales Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24.
With the loss, Franklin falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Liberty (Sykesville, MD) to face the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 9-4.
