The Chalker Wildcats softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Maplewood Rockets to 2 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Chalker moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Lordstown (Warren, OH) to clash with the Red Devils in a Northeastern Athletic game on Monday, April 24. The Red Devils come into the game with a record of 5-5.

In their next game, the Rockets clash with the Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH) in a Northeastern Athletic game, on Friday, April 21. Maplewood will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Lakers come into the game with a 10-4 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH).
