Virginia High School Softball - Colonial Heights can't hold off Southampton

The Southampton Indians softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Colonial Heights Colonials to 6 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Southampton moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Indians travel to Windsor (Windsor, VA) to clash with the Dukes in a Tri-Rivers game on Tuesday, April 25. The Dukes come into the game with a record of 10-2.
In their next game, the Colonials clash with the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 24. Colonial Heights will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Skyhawks come into the game with a 2-7 record after their 24-0 league loss to Midlothian (Midlothian, VA).
