The Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH) softball routed the visiting Fairborn Skyhawks (Fairborn, OH), 10-3 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Thunderbolts (6-4) will now prepare for their bout against Springboro (Springboro, OH). The Panthers go into the Greater Western Ohio bout with a 9-4 record. In their last bout, Springboro held off Wayne (Huber Heights, OH), 25-1, in a league bout.
