The Fairfield Lions softball team (Leesburg, OH), 9-7 in Thursday's non-league test with the host Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH)

Coming up next, the Shermans encounter the Huntington Huntsmen (Chillicothe, OH) in a Scioto Valley test, on Friday, April 21. Unioto will attempt to improve on its 15-1 season record. The Huntsmen come into the test with a 5-6 record after their 6-2 league loss to Piketon (Piketon, OH).

The Lions (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington (Ripley, OH). The Blue Jays enter the Southern Hills Athletic outing with a 2-11 record.
