The Gilmour Academy Lancers (Gates Mills, OH) softball routed the host North Rangers (Eastlake, OH), 15-4 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Lancers (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Chagrin Falls was routed by Hawken (Gates Mills, OH), 10-7, in a league bout.
The Rangers now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Chardon for a Western Reserve bout on Friday, April 21. North will confront a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 12-4.
