In Thursday's non-league contest, the Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH) softball team overwhelmed the host Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH), by a margin of 23-7.
With the triumph, Kenston moves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Bombers host Mayfield (Mayfield, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Western Reserve contest on Friday, April 21. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 1-14. Mayfield lost 14-4 in their recent non-league contest against Medina (Medina, OH)
In their next game, the Hornets play the Cardinal Huskies (Middlefield, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Valley contest, on Monday, April 24. Kirtland will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record.
