Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY) and the visiting Model Patriots (Richmond, KY), witnessed Lincoln County's softball squad prevail over Model by a count of 13-3.

The Patriots now sport a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Somerset for a non-league game on Saturday, April 22.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 21. Model will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Rebels come into the game with a 5-9 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Marion County (Lebanon, KY).
