Lordstown Red Devils (Warren, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host St. John Fighting Herald (Ashtabula, OH), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Windham for a Northeastern Athletic challenge on Friday, April 21. Lordstown will battle a Bombers squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Mathews (Vienna, OH). The Bombers record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, St. John falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Fighting herald travel to Maplewood (Cortland, OH) to battle the Rockets in a Northeastern Athletic challenge on Saturday, April 22. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 4-5. Maplewood lost 13-2 in their recent league challenge against Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH)
