The crowd at Thursday's league match between the St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT) and the host New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT), saw St. Joseph's softball squad achieve victory over New Canaan by a count of 17-7.

The Cadets now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Danbury for a Fairfield County match on Monday, April 24. St. Joseph will face a Hatters squad coming off a 9-6 league win over Staples (Westport, CT). The Hatters record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, New Canaan falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT) to face the Tigers in a Fairfield County match on Monday, April 24. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 7-2. Ridgefield won 12-0 in their recent non-league match against Lauralton Hall (Milford, CT)
