Tri-West Hendricks Bruins (Lizton, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cascade for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. Tri-West Hendricks will battle a Cadets squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Indianapolis Scecina Memorial (Indianapolis, IN). The Cadets record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Plainfield falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Quakers host McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN) to battle the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. The Mavericks enter the challenge with a record of 9-1. McCutcheon won 11-10 in their recent league challenge against Western Boone (Thorntown, IN)
