Tombstone Yellow Jackets (Tombstone, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ), 15-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Yellow Jackets now own a 4-18 record. They take the field next when they host San Miguel for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Tombstone will face a Vipers squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ). The Vipers record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Valley Union falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Ray (Kearny, AZ) to face the Bearcats in a 1A South challenge on Friday, April 21. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 17-7. Ray won 21-7 in their recent league challenge against Baboquivari (Sells, AZ)
