The Uintah Utes softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Union Cougars to 9 in the Utes non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Uintah improves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Utes travel to Stansbury (Stansbury Park, UT) to clash with the Stallions in a 5A Region 7 game on Friday, April 21. The Stallions come into the game with a record of 6-6. Stansbury lost 15-12 in their recent league game against Payson (Payson, UT)

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Delta Rabbits (Delta, UT) in a 3A Region 14 game, on Friday, April 21. Union will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Rabbits come into the game with a 2-7 record after their 15-0 league loss to North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT).
