The Elkhorn Elks baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Big Foot Chiefs to 0 in the Elks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Elks (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Beloit Memorial (Beloit, WI). The Purple Knights go into the Southern Lakes match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Beloit Memorial was overwhelmed by Burlington (Burlington, WI), 17-0, in a league match.
The Chiefs (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Turner (Beloit, WI). The Trojans go into the Rock Valley-Rock match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Turner was overwhelmed by Columbus (Columbus, WI), 9-8, in a non-league match.
