In Saturday's non-league game, the host Brookfield East Spartans baseball team scored a tight 5-3 victory over the Waukesha South Blackshirts.
The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Brookfield Central (Brookfield, WI). The Lancers go into the Greater Metro game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Brookfield Central tipped Greendale (Greendale, WI), 2-1, in a non-league game.
The Blackshirts (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Waukesha West (Waukesha, WI). The Wolverines go into the Classic Eight game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Waukesha West by New Berlin Eisenhower (New Berlin, WI), 4-3, in a non-league game.
