The Eagan Wildcats got by the visiting Grand Rapids Thunderhawks baseball team by a count of 7-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rosemount for a South Suburban bout on Monday, April 22. Eagan will face a Irish team coming off a 7-5 league loss to Eastview (Apple Valley, MN). The Irish record now stands at 0-8.
Next, the Thunderhawks face the Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN) in a Freelance bout, on Tuesday, April 23. Grand Rapids will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Greyhounds enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN).
