The Griswold Wolverines baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Stonington Bears to 7 in the Wolverines league victory on Saturday.
The Wolverines (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Wolves go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division III match with a 4-2 record.
The Bears (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Bobcats go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division III match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Bacon Academy edged New London (New London, CT), 12-2, in a non-league match.
