In Saturday's non-league game, the host Mt. Pleasant Oilers baseball team scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Kingsley Stags.
The Oilers (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Clare (Clare, MI). The Pioneers go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Clare tipped Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 6-1, in a non-league game.
