In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Round Lake Panthers.
The Warriors (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, Glenbard South lost by Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Panthers clash with the North Chicago Warhawks (North Chicago, IL) in a Northern Lake County battle, on Tuesday, April 23. Round Lake will attempt to advance on its 0-18 season record. The Warhawks come into the battle with a 0-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL).
