The Weddington Warriors lacrosse team scored 19 points and held the host Bishop McGuinness Villains to 2 in the Warriors non-league win on Saturday.
The Warriors (14-1) will now prepare for their game against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks go into the Southern Carolina/Rocky River game with a 12-3 record. In their last game, Marvin Ridge prevailed over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC), 18-1, in a league game.
The Villains (13-3) will now prepare for their game against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Camels go into the Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont game with a 10-2 record. In their last game, Atkins prevailed over West Stokes (King, NC), 10-3, in a league game.
