The Simi Valley Pioneers softball squad scored 8 runs and limited the host Kennedy Cougars to 1 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Simi Valley improves its record to 17-6 on the year. The Pioneers host Camarillo (Camarillo, CA) to play the Scorpions in a game on Tuesday, April 23. The Scorpions enter the game with a record of 8-3.

The Cougars now hold a 13-2 record. They play next when they host San Fernando for a game on Monday, April 22.
