The Holy Name Green Wave lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the visiting Benedictine Bengals to 3 in the Green Wave league win on Saturday.

The Green Wave (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH). The Crusaders go into the Region 5 outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Canton Central Catholic was overwhelmed by Bay (Bay Village, OH), 16-9, in a league outing.

With the defeat, Benedictine drops to 1-7 on the season. The Bengals host West Geauga (Chesterland, OH) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league outing on Monday, April 22. The Wolverines go into the outing with a record of 1-7. West Geauga lost 14-2 in their recent league outing against St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH)
