Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA), 15-13 in a non-league battle.

The Vikings now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hempfield Area for a WPIAL 3A 1 battle on Tuesday, April 23. Central Catholic will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 17-6 non-league loss to Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-9.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 1 battle, on Tuesday, April 23. Moon Area will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Gators come into the battle with a 0-7 record after their 17-3 league loss to Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA).
